Programming consists of four parts: Welcome, StoryTime, On Your Toes, and Superlative Showdown

Quick round of introductions and some housekeeping

This is the space for folks who have been working on a story and want to present it to the DotStories crew! Each session has a theme, which is usually what the StoryTime speaker bases their story on. In addition to stories based on the theme, this is also the space to try out any kind of storytelling! Do you have a big work presentation coming up you want to practice? Are you giving a toast at a wedding you want to try out? Did something big happen that you want to get off your chest?

This is where we try out some quick-thinking storytelling games! No prep is needed, and everyone is welcome to participate if they're comfortable!

This is our way of wrapping things up! We start with voting on who should fill the slots for that session's four superlatives: Funniest, Most Creative, Most Inspiring, and Most Dramatic. Once the spots have been filled, the four superlative title holders compete in a Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament to crown one storyteller as the DotStories Session Champion. The Champion is awarded a JustBook-ish giftcard, along with bragging rights until the next DotStories session!
